MarkVox helps users capture highlights by combining OCR, short spoken or typed anchors, source metadata, notes, folders, and export formats.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:

- Using MarkVox as an assistive productivity tool, not as a guarantee of
- Keeping exported files secure after saving or sharing them outside the app.
Accuracy Limits
MarkVox is designed for trust, but OCR, transcription, source lookup, and citation formatting can make mistakes. You should review and correct captured highlights, notes, metadata, and exported citations before academic, professional, legal, medical, publication, or submission use.
Academic Integrity
MarkVox is intended to support honest reading, note-taking, citation, and research workflows. It should not be used to fabricate sources, bypass citation responsibilities, or submit unreviewed output as if it were verified work.
Copyright And Content
You should only scan, save, export, or share content where you have a lawful basis to do so. MarkVox does not grant copyright permissions for books, articles, websites, PDFs, or other materials.
Accounts
Some features require an account. MarkVox may suspend or delete accounts for abuse, security risk, legal requirement, or violation of these terms.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what data MarkVox processes, why, which processors may be involved, and how you can export data or request account deletion.
Beta And Availability
During beta or early access, features may change, break, or be removed. Keep independent copies of important notes and exports.
Paid Features
Billing is not active yet. Subscription, refund, cancellation, institutional, tax, and mobile in-app purchase terms must be added before paid plans launch.
Disclaimers
MarkVox is provided as-is during beta. To the extent permitted by law, MarkVox disclaims warranties of uninterrupted availability, perfect OCR, perfect transcription, perfect citations, or fitness for a specific academic or professional outcome.
Limitation Of Liability
Jurisdiction-specific limitation language must be completed with counsel before public launch.
Governing Law
Governing law will be confirmed after the MarkVox legal entity path is decided and reviewed by counsel.
